A grocery store visit, a dinner, and Kayla’s first ferry ride

Well, we’ve found Kayla’s newest favorite activity – the grocery store. She absolutely loves riding in the grocery cart, and being pushed around the aisles. She takes in all the shapes and colors that fly by, and loves watching all the people running around.

Here are a few shots from our trip to the local QFC:
 

Not too long ago Kayla, Cheryl, Shawn and I went over to Evan and Stephanie’s for dinner. Kayla was in great form, and both Evan and Stephanie had a great time with Kayla!

 

As you can see, Kayla also had a great time :)

Just this past Wednesday I took Kayla down to the park to pick up our local access passes for Seafair. I decided to take a few shots in the leaves. The main challenge there is to take the pics without Kayla actually eating the leaves.

I was messing around with Paint.Net a bit in with shot above.

Before Cheryl went back to work we all went on a trip to Bainbridge Island. This was Kayla’s first ferry ride, and also her first trip on Seattle’s light rail.

 
 

We didn’t spend too long on Bainbridge Island, but we did get a chance to check out the main center, try out some funky flavored tea, and even showed Kayla her first raccoons :) Kayla delighted everyone we met on the light rail, and the ferry, and had a great time!
