Dad and Mom's trip to Seattle

Well, I have to say that even though my parents said they were coming I didn't believe it until I actually saw them at SeaTac airport last Tuesday.


I think they had a good week, here's the summary of what they did while they were here. I know I missed some stuff, but I think this gives the general idea.

Tuesday
- Traveled to Seattle via. Flint, then Atlanta.
- Ate at Jai Thai in Capitol Hill
Wednesday
- Ate breakfast at the B&O Espresso
- Walked downtown from Capitol Hill
- Mom injured her knee, kept walking
- EMP
- Pikes Place Market
- Dinner at Palisade
Thursday
- Ate breakfast at the B&O Espresso
- Walked downtown from Capitol Hill
- Took an Argosy Cruise of the Puget Sound
- Went on the underground tour
- Took a tour of the Seattle Public Library
- Ate at the Elysian Brewery with Shawn/Meghan
- Drove to Vancouver
Friday
- Ate breakfast at Melriches
- Rode bikes around Stanley Park
- Hiked Deep Cove
- Ate at Milestones
- Watched live Jazz at Capone’s
Saturday
- Drove to whistler
- Took a tour up the gondola, and hiked the peak
- Ate at the GLC
- Walked around whistler village
- Drove back to Vancouver
Sunday
- Ate at Melriches
- Went to Capilano Suspension Bridge
- Went to Lynn Canyon
- Went to Granville Island, and Granville Island Brewery
- Went to Kits Beach
- Ate at Gordon’s
- Drove back to Seattle
Monday
- Ate at B&O Espresso
- Went to REI
- Went to Guitar Center
- Took the Boeing Company Tour
- Ate lunch at the Pro Club
- Toured Microsoft: Main Campus, Company Store, Museum
- Ate dinner prepared by Shawn/Aaron
- Burned CDs of pictures taken
Tuesday
- Flew back to Flint, drove back to SSM
