Whistler gets some snow...

Went up to whistler yesterday. 15 cm of new snow made for a reasonable day although I did really put a few large gashes in my board from the rocks that snow was covering.

Anyhow, I'm glad I didn't stay in whistler yesterday because apparently there was a mud slide on the highway that closed traffic between whistler and vancouver.

All the rain this weekend is making it unlikely that I will do the mt. biking I was originally going to do in burnaby.

Almost time to start biking

In an attempt to write something that is not a complaint about the ski season I will talk briefly about some biking stuff.

I bought some Candy C pedals this past weekend along with some Specialized Sport shoes. These are both relatively cheap compared to what I was initially thinking I would buy. In fact I got the Candy C's for $50 off because I bough yellow ones which don't sell very well. From my perspective any colour would get pretty messed up after the first mud puddle, so I think I'm fine with having some weird colour on my bike.

Anyhow, our volleyball team is completely undefeated in the 25 games we have had so far, and I won a "race" up tiger mountain last weekend (vs. my roomate), but other than that not too much is going on. 10 mins ago I booked a plane ticket back to Sault Ste. Marie to visit my family...
