Newsflash: Christmas has been postponed

Well, not for everyone... But in our house we're having our gift exchange on the 27th.

Why? Good question.

The Sault is close to the border, and shipping items from the US to Canada is more expensive than internally within the US. So, as a result we ship our internet bought gifts to a location on the Michigan side of the border. Now, to make a long story short, the place we shipped these gifts closed earlier than we expected them to, and now they're closed until the 27th. So, that's when we're gonna pick up the gifts and do the exchange.

On an unrelated note Cheryl posted our 4th day at Costa Rica.

More on Costa Rica

So I knew if I waited long enough Cheryl would put a lot of time into some great posts on our Costa Rica trip. So far she's done day 1, day 2, and a day 2/3 post.

So the pictures posted so far are:
Day 1: Seattle to Liberia
Day 2: Liberia to Playa Hermosa
Day 3: Playa Hermosa

Cheryl goes into a lot of detail on the first three days... Here were the highlights as I see them.
1) Language: Getting off the airport surrounded by 30 cab drivers that don't speak english but all want your business bad
2) Infrastructure: Sitting in line at the bus stop in liberia only to realize there is no real line, and nobody knows where the right bus will show
3) Cost: Paying less than a dollar for a 45 minute bus ride to the coast
4) Wildlife: Seeing howler monkeys as soon as we got there
5) Seclusion: Seeing how few folks were at Playa Hermosa
6) Weather: Realizing the end of the rainy season is not really rainy at all

Well, I'm tired of writing. See Cheryl's posts for more info :)
