R-Line and Peeler

Got some great riding in this weekend.  Sessioned a great trail up at Snoqualmie Ridge called R-Line, and also went up to Exit 34 for some action on a trail called Peeler.

Here's a shot of me on R-Line:IMG_2704.JPG

Here's Cheryl a bit further up the trail:

R-Line is a trail made by a few folks I ride with.  They've kept it sane with reasonable ride arounds for stunts that might not appeal to the masses, so it's a great one to session with friends.

Although Peeler doesn't have anything too crazy on it it's not as accessible. First it's hard to find, second, there are a few steep sections that you can't really walk around.  We went to Peeler with a ton of folks, so I should be able to point to pictures soon.

Other interesting points from this weekend...  Cheryl and I made a pizza from scratch, and on Sunday night we went over to Trang's for Henry's birthday dinner.  There was a German theme to the dinner, so I got to try a bunch of really interesting food.  All amazing.

Anyhow, time to get back to it!

Dirt Merchant top to bottom

Earlier on I linked to an A-line run up at whistler.  Recently a friend pointed me to a link which shows a Dirt Merchant run top to bottom.  This is one of my favorite trails up at whistler, and it's hard to give people who do not bike a feel for how fun it really is.

Anyhow, check it out.  From this link click on the "Crankworx 1" video.

Camping at Deception Pass

This weekend myself and a bunch of friends went camping up at Deception Pass.

Here's the sunset:

First the negatives:
- No campfires allowed
- Rain galore Saturday night
- Cold...

Otherwise everything went very well. Henry saved the day with his lantern which provided ample light for folks to play Set, and Apples to Apples while Shawn and I attempted to play guitar. We did a bunch of hiking in the area, and even had a chance to stop at the chocolate factory on the way back.

I uploaded some other photos.

More Whistler, and pics...

This weekend I helped Cheryl move into her new appt. We paid movers to help us with the big articles that wouldn't fit into our cars, but they could not make the couch fit into the new appartment. It was a first for the professional movers, so it doesn't happen often.

Then we went to Whistler for a ride in the park. Here are a few pics:

This is me off one of the wall rides on Crank It Up:

Here's Cheryl over one of the practice jumps (getting air):

On my way back from Vancouver this morning I was "randomly selected for secondary screening"... Basically wasted 3o mins of time to find out I had no monkeys in my car. Ah well.

Over the past few weeks Cheryl's been posting some of our pics. Here are some from Marcel and Amanda's wedding...

First set of pics from Marcel's wedding.
Second set of pics from Marcel's wedding.

Anyhow, that's enough for today.
