A bunch of stuff...

Hit tiger mt. for its opening weekend. I just got my bike back from the shop where they overhauled my front fork and shocks for the low low price of $130… Did the 3 mile climb, but at the top it started hailing on me. I wasn’t feeling the flow, and the weather was turning, so I headed back early rather than going through the singletrack.

Last week I took a day off because Cheryl was in town between jobs. Hit some golf balls, ran around town, and visited Bruce and Brandon Lee’s gravesite in my neighborhood.

Around the same time we went to visit the cherry blossoms at UW. Of course this type of thing is pretty exciting for Cheryl. Then even further back there was the Christmas party…

Anyhow, the ski season is coming to a close in Washington. Whistler will be open for some time still, so I might head up there this weekend. Soon the biking season will be in full swing and the big bike is going to have to come out in full force.

Winter season over for v-ball, dodgeball

Well, my two leagues are done for the winter. Our volleyball team won after some very competitive games, while my dodgeball league team did not fare so well.

I don't think I'm going to continue playing dodgeball. It's really fun, and I've met some cool people that I would not have otherwise, but it's the same night as pick-up volleyball, and it's so hard on my elbow for some reason (lots of side-arm throwing I think). I need to give my elbow a rest.

Volleyball I still want to play though. It's hard to play Sunday nights because I spend every second week in Vancouver, and the weekends I'm in Seattle I often have other stuff going on.

Anyhow, until next time...
